The Threepenny Opera is a success!
After creating the design for the posters and leaflets for The Threepenny Opera, I became further involved with the show. I took the roles of Publicity Designer and Deputy Marketing Manager, as well as an Assistant Stage Manager.
In total, 400 posters and 10,000 flyers were distributed for the show, as well as viral marketing through Facebook and advertising using publicity events around University of Warwick and through the Warwick Students Union website. The opera was also featured in a number of newspapers and through the BBC.
The show turned out to be a huge success at Warwick Arts Centre, selling over 73% of the tickets to an audience largely made up of students, adding up to over £8,500 in ticket sales.
I would like to give my congratulations to all the cast and crew involved with the show who made the show the success that it was.
